A tribute to a wonderful man and photographer. Vietnam War photographer Van Es has passed away in a hospital in Hong Kong at the age of 67 from a brain hemorrhage.
Van Es was one of the few Western photographers who risked staying till the end of the Vietnamese War.
After the Vietnam War, Van Es continued on to photograph the Moro rebellion in the Philippines.
Van Es and his wife, Annie, to whom he was married for 39 years.
