Describing his aesthetic, painter Alex Asher Daniel says: “With portraiture, it is important for me to record the aura, and yet still show a likeness to the physical aspects that people are familiar with. [...] I am trying to explore various dimensions and the negative space; I enjoy what a painting says in its empty spaces.”
In 1997 Chamberlain was named a recipient of The National Arts Club Artists Award, New York, and in 1999 he received the Distinction in Sculpture Honor from the Sculpture Center, New York.

From the Feet to the Brain follows a beautiful and horrific metaphorical artistic vision of the body. It is created in different rooms and levels starting from the feet and ending with the brain, which the artist finds is the most sexy part of the body.
