Croatian born and German raised designer Damir Doma studied in Berlin and Munich. His talent then led him to Antwerp to work for designers such as Raf Simons and Dirk Schoenberger. Inspired by artists such as Gottfried Helnwein, Joseph Beuys, and Gerhard Richter, his collections are heavy in material and textile research and embody soft shapes. For his new collection, however, he was inspired by the artist Anselm Kiefer, which led to the use of melancholic colors and fluid drapes.

Joy Ahoulou and Simon Burgunder of Basel, Switzerland have been friends for several years. They both completed a tailoring apprenticeship and later studied Fashion Design at The University of Applied Arts in Basel. After receiving two grants for their post graduate collections from the Federal Office of Culture, they decided to work as a team and develop their own line called Ahoulou Burgunder. Inspired by the notion of manhood, their designs explore the limits of masculinity and feminity – using fabrics from the likes of Schläpfer, Forster Rohner etc. for instance – with derision and fun.
