Croatian born and German raised designer Damir Doma studied in Berlin and Munich. His talent then led him to Antwerp to work for designers such as Raf Simons and Dirk Schoenberger. Inspired by artists such as Gottfried Helnwein, Joseph Beuys, and Gerhard Richter, his collections are heavy in material and textile research and embody soft shapes. For his new collection, however, he was inspired by the artist Anselm Kiefer, which led to the use of melancholic colors and fluid drapes.
