This picture is from the Flickr account of Fessenden School in West Newton, MA, USA. Among the riveting finds are a whole century of class photos where you can trace the subtle but steady shifts of time. Above the graduate class of 1983.

I recently came across Yang Hong Xun’s work at an exhibition in Beijing, and upon further research, found some amazing polaroids from Yang’s portfolio. His works documents on these one off prints, of all details in life, from the beautiful to the weird.

An amazing curation of duo imageries, created by James Turnley, Two for the Road is:

an editing experiment based on the visual similarities that can be found when photos are presented side by side.

A great source of inspiration.

80’s in Italy, is still incredible. La Bionda’s I Wanna Be Your Lover is a great marriage between Japanese manga and Italian 80’s Pop.

I cam across this jewel collection of photos one morning. John Maloof bought her collection of prints and negatives, however, only to discover that she passed away only days before his enquiry. The photos are simply captivating, during a time of Chicago that is now in the history books. Beautiful memories.

Photojournalist, Wang Jiuliang, has been documenting the wastes around Beijing over the past years. As China emerges into the world’s new consumer power, it is also experiencing the growing pains that comes with this growth. The realities of modern living is that we are actually besieged by our own waste. How will this effect not only our future generations, but perhaps in our own times? Below, is also a Google Map which Wang has plotted out, a disturbing picture for the residents of Beijing.
